Attorney Edward J. Duffy Jr. concentrates in the practice of elder law, estate planning, probate and trust administration; as well as commercial litigation, real estate and business transactions.

His other primary areas of focus include estate planning law and asset protection planning, and, serving as an expert in trust and estate cases both at depositions and at trial. With over 30 years’ experience, he has the knowledge and depth of experience to advise his clients on diverse elder law, estate planning, Medicaid and Medicare planning, and probate matters.

His experience in the litigation, planning, and administration aspects of probate law make him a strong advocate for his clients at each phase of the legal process. Attorney Edward J. Duffy Jr.’s planning and legal advice is comprehensive and customized to the unique needs of each person he works with. Attorney Edward J. Duffy Jr. also brings an extensive background in the areas of Commercial and Residential real estate law.  His real estate practice concentrates on real estate closings and transactions, both residential and commercial; commercial zoning, lease negotiations, landlord/tenant issues and real estate related litigation.

In practice since 1975, Attorney Edward J. Duffy Jr. holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University Of Connecticut School Of Law, having graduated with honors. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Fordham University in New York, graduating Cum Laude.  He is licensed to practice in the Courts of the State of Connecticut; U.S. District Court District of Connecticut; and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
